Sideshow at Branchage Film Festival 2011

So, with the last remnants of all that is the British summer receding with the light; the long days, cricket matches, beer garden jugs of Pimms and sleeping under canvas in various fields around the country, we packed our signs, drawings and paraphernalia into the van for one last time on Wednesday as the Sideshow rolls out to Jersey for the annual Branchage International Film Festival. Branchage is a  festival with a genuine cross-arts aesthetic, brilliant programmers and a plethora of unique and imaginative venues and we’re incredibly excited about being a part of it.

The exhibition is going to be housed in a horsebox (a bit like the one seen in the picture below) right next to the Branchage Spiegeltent which is the main hub of the festival located at the Weighbridge. Jason and Will will be around to answer questions and to read poetry, so do come down and check it out.

The festival kicks off on Thursday 22nd September with the opening gala screening at the Jersey Opera House of award winning, documentary feature film Senna.

Will is also reading poetry before the screening of Werner Herzog’s film, Cave Of Forgotten Dreams on Saturday 24th September at 3pm.
